'Heroes' Villain to Play Spock in New 'Star Trek'

Abstract

Zachary Quinto, best known for playing the villainous Sylar in "Heroes," will play Mr. Spock in Paramount's newest installment of the Star Trek feature franchise, which is currently known as "Star Trek XI" .The Spock character is synonymous with Leonard Nimoy. The 76-year-old actor also will appear in the film, it was revealed at the annual Comic-Con International convention in San Diego on Thursday.
