Having no problem bending the law to get the job done, Ludlow is assisted by a rookie robbery homicide detective (Chris Evans), while a nervous Captain Wander (Forest Whitaker) keeps a watchful eye over the pair so they don't come under suspicion from an internal affairs investigator (Hugh Laurie).
