City Of Men examines the value of the father-son relationship and its implications by laying out what happens when two boys struggle to become men despite being raised without the influence of a strong male figure. The "nature versus nurture" tug-of-war is on full display in this cautionary tale.

You'll see beads of sweat breaking on the actors' brows and backs, since that's how dangerously close the camera comes to its subjects.
