Miyamoto: “E3 is no longer for showing core games”

Abstract

If this year’s Nintendo conference wasn’t proof positive enough, this about proves it. Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed in a new interview that the E3, for Nintendo at least, is no longer about appealing to just the core gamer as it was previously. Miyamoto says “Now we look at more … an opportunity for us to introduce new concepts and new types of play that we intend to bring to the broader audience, particularly because of the media that gathers at E3 now.” More inside
