Soul Bubbles' creative director Oliver Lejade stated in an interview that the DS market is being "killed by lack of originality." Lejade believes that good, original titles are lost among the sea of shovelware and "crappy clones" being quickly pushed out by developers for minimal costs hoping to cash in on the success of the DS.
