From the latest gamingindians.com preview;
"As expected, Capcom's proprietary Framework engine churns out some gorgeous visuals. Chris' model in particular is superb with excellent attention to detail. Sadly, the frame rate in this particular build wasn't up to the mark. The level also suffered from a few V-sync (screen tearing) issues. Although we only got to play the PS3 version, both versions are expected to look nearly identical when released."

Welcome back for
another episode of Stupid Gadget Criminals. For today's edition, we take you to
France, where in the village of Mussidan in the southwestern part of the country, a malefactor stole a television along with a set of hunting rifles, according to local police. So where does the stupidity come in? Well,
messieurs et mesdames, it appears that this ruffian didn't make it back to his evil lair with the remote control -- and upon so realizing, returned to the scene of the crime to retrieve the last of the loot. The neighbors caught him doing the dastardly deed, and he was turned over to the proper authorities. So remember kids, you can always pick up a replacement remote at your local Best Buy, or in his case, Fnac.

Evidently there seems to be a problem with the wireless dongle that is included with the PS3 version of Guitar Hero III
1UP comments that:
"With Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on store shelves, players are getting their first taste of this Fall's guitar releases. Getting wireless up and running on all the machines has been a bit of an issue, however, with both Guitar Hero and Rock Band having to develop their own dongle-based wireless systems on PlayStation 3, as the tools to hook into the hardware's Bluetooth features apparently weren't ready just yet."

Nintendo’s not really good at letting everyone know all those cool small features it builds into its consoles, but now that the system is out on the street we can finally learn some more about it. First up unlike the Nintendo DS and DS Lite the firmware is solely in Japanese – while it’s probably not that hard to navigate however as the icons in the firmware are pretty self expanitory. The star and filmmakers of O Brother, Where Art Thou? are preparing to reunite. George Clooney will reportedly star in Burn After Reading for Joel Coen and Ethan Coen. Clooney and the Coens last reteamed for Intolerable Cruelty. Clooney would reportedly play a killer in the project, according to ProductionWeekly.com. The pic is said to be based on the book Burn Before Reading: Presidents, CIA Directors, and Secret Intelligence. The book was penned by Admiral Stansfield Turner, who was director of the CIA during the Carter administration. The site claims that "the contemporary East Coast caper is about a C.I.A. guy who's writing a book and he loses the disc. Clooney's character is not the C.I.A. guy, but a guy that goes around killing people." Burn After Reading is slated to lens next August

This is not text messaging and it's not even on the Zune itself. This is just a document illustrating how the Zune Social networking features will work in the software on your PC. You're sending messages—pointers to songs or albums—with your own notes to your friends, which are shown in the inbox portion of the software. No new features we haven't seen yet, just a doc showing how it'll work. We've sent Haroon to remedial reading comprehension school in the mean time. -J.C.
As some of our astute readers have pointed out, the Zune 2 looks like it will support a Wi-Fi text messaging service. The extract from the leaked support document details an inbox feature, which "is where customers can send and receive text messages with other Zune users." The added functionality would sure make the social a lot more social, but the exact details are not clear.
Apparently, there are three types of messages, including text, artist or album. What the artist and album message formats will allow is not clear. (Simply a message with the information seems unlikely, but anything beyond that also seems a little unlikely). What has not been touched upon is a method for text entry; we sure hope there is some form of a solution to make this doable. Given the hardware infrastructure we cannot see a solution, but we'd love to be proven wrong. [Zune Scene via Zune Boards]

The highly unique PlayStation 2 title Okami will see new life as a title for the Wii console. Boasting a beautiful visual style and a 'drawing' game mechanic that would seem to presage the Wii's motion control, it will almost certainly fit in well with the Wii's existing stable of games. Eurogamer also note that "the game lends itself rather well to the potential of Nintendo's Wiimote for control. Amaterasu's Celestial Brush - a paintbrush used in combat and for solving puzzles - is a perfect fit for the Wiimote, and so it proves, while combat will also include various "motion-controlled physical attacks"."
