Fear not, UK friends, you will be getting the
eye-pleasing,
battery-draining PSP-3000 just like everyone else, but it seems you won't be getting quite as many bundle options as others in Europe. According to GamesIndustry.biz, the silver PSP-3000 bundle with Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and the black PSP-3000 bundle with a 4GB Memory Stick won't be making it to the UK, at least initially, leaving you with
only the Go! communication, FIFA, Harry Potter, and Buzz! Master Quiz bundles to choose from. That, as you may have noticed, doesn't include a stand-alone PSP-3000 option, but Sony assures us that'll be arriving as well sometime after the bundles are released.

You will also be able to control the majority of the rest of the iPhone."

There are decisions in life that are nearly impossible to make, like asking a parent to choose their favorite child, or deciding which is better, chocolate or vanilla. Such a mountain will be climbed today in this very article. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is the latest entry in one of Nintendo's many long-running series. It's a fantastic game - as our 9.5 review score would have you believe - that delivers awesome action and a control scheme that has many thinking that the Wii could be the future destination of choice for the hardcore FPS gamers out there.

While
ebooks have a lot going for them, it's hard to overcome losing the satisfaction that comes from handling a physical book -- the texture of the pages, the ability to flip around quickly, and yes, the smell. Other companies might be working on
solutions to the
harder problems, but ebook content provider CafeScribe is going pretty low-tech to give your laptop screen the same scent as a textbook: the company is shipping "musty-smelling" scratch-and-sniff stickers with every ebook order. The promotion comes in response to a survey showing that 43 percent of students identified smell as the thing they most liked about their favorite books, but we're not so sure -- we had some used textbooks in college that we're definitely not eager to smell again.

GamesRadar is not saying that Grand Theft Auto IV will suck. In fact, they think it?ll be one of next year?s must have titles. It's just that there's another awesome open-world action title set in New York (the real one) in the works that might make Rockstar take the backseat in 2008. The game's called Prototype, and even in its early stages of development, it looks ready to outshine GTA IV in almost every way. Yes, they're being serious.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has approved a bill designed to improve top management at the Homeland Security Department.
The Homeland Security Management Act of 2007, sponsored by Sen. George Voinovich (R-Ohio), would create the position of deputy secretary of homeland security for management at the department, elevating the responsibilities of the current undersecretary for management. The bill, approved Aug. 1, will next go to the full Senate for consideration.
The new position would be a major step toward resolving the ongoing difficulties of creating a unified identity for the 22 agencies and more than 200,000 employees that constitute DHS.
“I am convinced the existing management structure at the department is insufficient and is hampering its ability to be successful,” said Voinovich, ranking member of the committee’s Oversight of Government Management Subcommittee. “Creation of a deputy secretary for management will provide essential expertise necessary for improving the long-term efficiency and effectiveness of the department.”
Under the legislation, the person appointed to the new position would be the third-ranking official at the department and would serve a five-year term...

On Thursday, July 26, 2007, Jon Favreau premiered footage of Iron Man at the San Diego Comic-Con. Following a taped introduction, Favreau showed some early special effects footage from the film. "Hi, I'm Jon Favreau, the director of Iron Man," Favreau said as he sat in front of computer monitor. "I'd like to thank all of you for coming out to Comic-Con and attending this panel. I'm sorry I couldn't be there - I'm stuck here in the editing room because we just wrapped production and we're just beginning the editorial process. We've also been getting in some very early animation tests and I thought as a special treat you might want to see some of our early tests for our visual effects." "Without further ado, here's an exclusive peek at some of the preliminary animation from the movie Iron Man," Favreau said. The camera zoomed in on the monitor and began playing the footage, which was actually from the original 1960s cartoon series. When the footage ended and the lights went back up, Favreau was on stage filming the audience with a digital camera. "How's it going, everybody?" Favreau asked. "We finished filming and it went great, and as you know we did a lot of stuff using practical effects. With the folks at Stan Winston, we built some suits and things. And we're doing some stuff with ILM and some smaller houses just for the CG portion, with the Mark III, and we're coming out May 2nd. I wasn't scheduled to come out here but I was able to get away a little early." After joking with the audience they will miss great footage from the film at the Marvel panel on Saturday, Favreau decided to screen some scenes from Iron Man. In the clip, which ran approximately four minutes, Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) pitches his company's military weaponry and fields questions from reporters. Following an incident in Afghanistan, Stark awakens to discover that he has a strange device affixed to his chest. A man explains that he saved Stark's life by removing shrapnel from his chest and hooking up a car-battery-powered electromagnet to his heart. After he recovers more fully, Stark builds a bulky metallic suit (the Mark I armor) and uses it to escape - albeit awkwardly. After this sequence with the Mark I, the footage shuttles through a montage of images, including Stark's upgraded armor for the Mark II and III models. Finally, Iron Man squares off against two F-14 jets before zooming off into the stratosphere. "You know what's cool about that?" asked Favreau. "Except for the last five shots, everything else is practical. We haven't even done the digital work for this yet. So you're in for a real big treat

Katsuya Eguchi might have the toughest job at Nintendo.
