She was doing so well for a while there!
Mary-Kate Olsen has suffered a relapse.
The aspiring designer showed up dressed for a funeral to the Chanel Cruise Collection show in Los Angeles on Friday night.
She thought it was sophistimucated or something.
Just like she probably thought this outfit she wore to the Met's Costume Institute Gala was cute too.
MK needs to go to fashion rehab!
This is a pretty average flash drive that comes in a not-so-average package. This toe of this athletic shoe pops off to reveal the USB connector capable of storing up to 1GB of your favorite sports (or anything else) related goods. No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. That appears to be the oh-so-familiar Nike swoosh plastered on the side of this non-Nike peripheral. I can imagine the lawyers' ears perking up as I type this. –Travis Hudson

In an interesting reversal, departed PC World Editor Harry McCracken has returned to the magazine as "vice-president, editor in chief" as of this morning. What's even more surprising is that CEO Colin Crawford has been dropped from the CEO position and is taking up the executive vice president, online position. He's even given the editorial staff an apology for killing the story. His blog has removed the post about the EIC changes at PC World. The situation sounds sour for him, but I doubt Harry would have returned to work with the Crawford after such a public disagreement.
But really, PC World had no choice. After 16 years of service to IDG, and the this current episode highlighting his integrity, the magazine couldn't really move forward without looking like editorial corruption was in place. Unless Harry came back.
His conditions? That "editors were allowed to be editors". He made no comment about whether or not Colin's reshuffled position were the terms of his return.
IDG is going start a search for a CEO for both PC World and Macworld, two magazines that Colin Crawford used to be CEOs of. Our thoughts? All the reader outrage online after the story first broke is what caused the sudden 180. Or, we suppose it's probably more of a 540 since PCWorld actually went ahead and published a tame 10 Things We Hate About Apple anyway.
As an aside, I think it could have been better to have PC World write the "Apple Love" piece, and Macworld write the "Apple Hate" piece. Nothing better than to provide surprising thoughts to your already hypnotized user base.– Jason Chen and Brian Lam

Rumor has it that HP will be announcing a new 20-inch gaming laptop, the Pavilion HDX. Weighing in at a hefty 12lbs, the computer is large enough to house both a full-sized keyboard and a windows media remote, side by side.
Electronista speculates that the computer will feature the new Santa Rosa chipset (Centrino successor), GeForce Go 8000 video card, HDMI out, HD DVD option, and the ability to make even the most inactive WoW players buff up by lugging it around.
No word on price or actual release date at this time. Hit the jump for a bonus shot of the sweet dockable media remote.

Why have one outlaw biker show when you can have two? I always find it a little odd when you see two movies or television shows pop up at the same time that share strikingly similar premises. And that's what we have here. Sons Of Anarchy, from The Shield writer/executive producer Kurt Sutter, centers on an outlaw motorcycle club in Charming, CA. Clearly much different than HBO's 1%, which tells the story of an outlaw motorcycle club in Carefree, AZ. They're two completely different states after all.
Of course, I kid... a little bit. The shows do have different takes on the subject, and there is a rundown of the development time lines for both of them in the article at The Hollywood Reporter. Sons will focus on Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) and the conflict that develops as his loyalty to the club clashes with his trepidation where their lawlessness is concerned. Sutter's wife, Katey Sagal, is along for the ride as Teller's mother. The role of Jax's step-father was played by Scott Glenn in the pilot but will be recast in the series. I'm not sure if there is room for two biker shows on the television schedule, but with Sutter in charge of Sons, and Donal Logue signed on for 1%, I'll have to take a look at both of them.

This must be the day for TV networks being sued. Earlier today Joel told you about China suing CNN for over a billion dollars, and now comes news that Family Guy creator/producer Seth MacFarlane and 15 of his colleagues on the show are suing 20th Century Fox.
The 16 writers claim that the studio not only didn't give them the right credit onscreen for the work they did on the Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story movie, but they also didn't pay the writers for the 12 minutes of extra footage that was made for the DVD. The lawsuit accuses Fox of breach of contract and deceit. It's interesting how this show was canceled and only brought back because of strong DVD sales, and now a DVD is causing tension between the writers and the studio.
No word yet on how much money or damages the group is seeking. I wonder if the lawsuit will make its way into an episode of the show?
