The way the concept of CRM is defined during the sales process can sow the seeds of its ultimate failure. Because the decision makers are often sales managers rather than actual salespeople, the pitch is usually made that CRM makes it easier for the managers to manage their sales staff. Which is true. But what's in it for the sales staff?

GameSpot writes: Wii Remote pack-in leads list of all-time titles; Guitar Hero III, GTA: San Andreas, Modern Warfare 2, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, Call of Duty 4, Madden NFL 07, COD: World at War, and Namco Museum also make chart.
Last week when NPD released its December 2009 US sales numbers, it declared that three of the 10 games of all time were from the Call of Duty franchise. Today, the industry-research firm released its list of top 10 domestic non-PC games to date, which reconfirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was the fourth best seller of all time. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare came in seventh place, followed by Call of Duty: World at War in ninth.
Don't call it a comeback--it's been here for years.
Unfortunately, NPD's number-one best-selling software "game" is a game many people don't consider a game at all. The Wii Remote pack-in minigames compilation Wii Play is now the top-selling software game product of all time in the United States, beating out Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (second) and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (third).

If you haven't spent any time in the South, you're probably disgusted by the mere concept of fried dill pickles, and with good reason: They sound unholy. Break through that prejudice, though. When done well, fried dill pickles are one of the greatest artery-clogging creations to have ever emerged from the trans fats Jacuzzi. There's a jarring interplay between the crispness of the batter and the tang of the pickle that shouldn't work but does. You can't find them at a lot of places in town, but newish eatery Soho Park (Lafayette and Prince) does a creditable job: $5.50 gets you a batch served with mustard (but, really, all you need is a beer and a copious amount of salt). We've found that fried dill pickles also do an excellent job to settle stomachs that are in discomfort from the previous evening's indulgences. Is there anything they can't do?

Bryan Singer's film
Superman Returns is now out there among all the other versions and incarnations of the "Man of Steel." Whatever your feelings are about the movie's quality and even though, to some, it may have underperformed at the box office, there will be a sequel ... and Singer will be directing it. In addition, it seems the writers from the first film,
Michael Dougherty and
Dan Harris, will most likely be involved as well.
Since a lot of you Supes fans were a little let down by the first film (myself included), what will the writers and Singer be doing to make sure the next
Superman better lives up to fan's expectations? Well, according to a recent interview with
Superman Returns co-writer Michael Dougherty over at
Sci-Fi Wire, the new film might have more than one bad guy and will almost certainly be much more action-packed. Dougherty hinted that the sequel will feature at least one villain from the DC Comics franchise and maybe even more than one. "Maybe It's [Mr.] Myxyzptlk," joked Dougherty in the article.
Dougherty also indicated that it's likely he and co-writer Dan Harris will return for the sequel. He notes, "We're talking. We're bouncing ideas around with Bryan. Big ideas. Action-packed ideas." He also agrees with Singer's intentions to go all "
Wrath of Kahn" with the next film. According to Dougherty, that means: "Let's take what we've already established -- we've gotten that out of the way -- and let's just make it shorter, tighter and more action-packed." Sounds good to me. I like
The Wrath of Kahn movie and I like the
Superman character, so the sequel could be a winner -- I just hope they can pull it off.
What villains do you guys want to see in the next
Superman film?

Although limited in selection to about 1,000 titles and available initially to a few subscribers, Netflix will begin IP delivery of films and television shows today. Those with better plans get more hours, from 6 to 48 hours a month. And films come over the wire to a DRM'd Netflix app that for now appears to only work on Windows XP and IE 6.0. Over time, they plan to expand the service to the livingroom.
The new service will rollout to about 250k users a month, as they scale up their delivery service to satisfy the entire Netflix user base of 6 million. That should happen, according to the website, by June.
This has always been part of the plan for the company, as its name implies, and as its been chronicled. IP video livingroom solutions by Sony, Apple, Microsoft and all the cable providers are on their way or here. So, we'll see how fast Netflix jumps to the livingroom. On the real, we're not quite sure we're ready to sink hard-earned dollars into a digital media "ecosystem" crafted by the same folks working up

portable DVD players, but we suppose we can't kvetch over any extra competition. Apparently, the firm's Freescape initiative is based around the Digital Media Exchange (pictured), which stores your precious content and passes it along to other Freescape products -- you know, like the accompanying Digital Media Extender, wireless digiframe and wireless PMP. No word on a price for any of this kit just yet, but we've all ideas that's a-okay with the most of you.
