The chocolate brown HTC Incredible has reappeared on the scene, this time in Verizon Wireless' inventory system. Is the Android phone close to announcement? It's peculiar HTC hasn't officially announced it yet, instead outing the Legend and Desire.
The Android 2.1 phone (with HTC Sense slicked on top) is rumored to run on a Snapdragon processor, with 256MB of RAM and a 3.5 - 3.7-inch WVGA display. If traces of the Incredible are appearing on Verizon's system, then it'd make sense if it's outed shortly—right, HTC? [Berry Scoop via Android Community]

"International Fascism: Microsoft Will Kill More Youth than Hitler." That is the title of a news posting over at the LaRouche Political Action Committee website, home of the supporters of American political nutcase Lyndon LaRouche. Taking their lead from the New York Post's sensationalist article "COLLEGE KILLER CRAZY FOR VIOLENT VID GAME", the LaRouche Camp is apparently blaming "Microsoft's Counterstrike killer video-game" for the shooting. Never mind that Microsoft doesn't make Counter-Strike - that's probably all part of the conspiracy as well.
"The intended effect, to foster an environment of mass suicide terrorism in the U.S.A., is a by-product of the 'Revolution in Military Affairs' policy, organized by Felix Rohatyn and George P. The Nokia E90 Communicator has come out of the blurry shadows and into the sharp spotlight, showing off its 3.2 megapixel camera, Edge, WiFi and HDSPA goodness on two screens, one inside and the other out. That outside screen is a conventional 240x320 while inside it's packing an expansive 800x352 screen that can show you an entire width of a web page, no sweat.
If that's not enough, Nokia crammed even more stuff inside, including GPS with Nokia maps and an FM radio. For all that power and goodness, you're going to have to shell out some relatively big bucks—it'll set you back about $1000 without a contract, first available in Q2 of this year.

Today, TMZ vampire Harvey Levin visited NYU's journalism department to talk about how he practices his craft and the entire self-aggrandizing mythos of journalism reportedly ate its own tail and then puked it back up in disgust, forever. Our favorite quotes:
- "It's a huge issue, especially with Britney Spears. Her parents are seriously worried that they're going to have to call the coroner soon. And those aren't my words. She has multiple personalities.... It's outrageous that they [U.C.L.A.] would let her go. The paparazzi haven't helped her. We give our cameramen explicit instructions. They're not allowed to chase, break the law, or go on private property."
- "I said, 'we're gonna cover Britney Spears the way David Gregory [NBC News Chief White House Correspondent) covers President Bush.'"
- "I just read a book about Einstein."

Sony's Phil Harrison held his
D.I.C.E keynote today with the help of some very familiar faces (and we're not talking about Newsweek's N'Gai Croal). Typically seen in the thousands, the rubber duckies of the Playstation brand are Sony's secret weapons when it comes to fancy technical demonstrations. Having paid their dues, the next big thing for the rubber wonders is a Playstation Network title by the name of
Super Rub'a'Dub.
Played entirely with the Playstation 3 motion controls,
Super Rub'a'Dub has players controlling the alpha duck, herding the little ones together before making a swim for the exit. Sounds like
Bubbles to us! Not much else is known about the title, other than it will release in time for the European launch. Now do you believe the wait was worth it?

Keep an eye out for
300, a PSP exclusive quietly marching under the radar. Based on the upcoming film inspired by Frank Miller's graphic novel (a re-imagining of the historic
Battle of Thermopylae),
300: March to Glory seems to be taking a number of cues from its Spartan predecessor
God of War, including a fixed camera, blood-showering violence, and d-pad selected powers (or "battle skills"). Fittingly, the odds of
300 succeeding as
God of War did are exceedingly slim, in turn, sparking the potential for a surprise hit.
300: March to Glory hits retail February 27.
