The Simpsons creator Matt Groening will celebrate the 500th episode of his hit cartoon series on St. Valentine's Day (14Feb12) by unveiling a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Simpsons stars Hank Azaria and Yeardley Smith will pay tribute to the animator, whose star will be the 2,459th on the famous sidewalk.

HBO network bosses have picked up Dustin Hoffman's new TV series Luck for a second season - less than a week after airing the very first episode of the horseracing drama last Sunday (29Jan12).
