The site is currently focusing on digital books that deliver a Reading Rainbow-like familiarity. However, Burton eventually wants to make classic episodes of Reading Rainbow available, online. Who knows, if the project garners enough interest, maybe well be catching new episodes of Reading Rainbow with our own kids. For the third longest kids program to ever run on PBS - after Sesame Street and Mister Rogers - getting a second spark at life is definitely deserved.
Now that her True Blood run has ended, Tuck has already made an appearance on network TV in a recent episode of One Life To Live. Now she is headed to NBC to play out a more fairytale-oriented storyline. Tuck is set to act in an upcoming episode of Grimm called Love Sick, and this time she wont need the fangs, although she will play a character who is somewhat supernatural.
There is an ever increasing trend that has seen several Hollywood veterans flock to premium television. From Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte trying their Luck to Chris Cooper and Dianne Wiest boarding The Corrections (both at network superstar HBO), stars in the twilight of their careers are finding juicy parts on the small screen. Now, two more legends, Jon Voight and Elliott Gould, are also making the transition by joining Ray Donovan at Showtime.
One of my favorite dynamics in Spartacus: Blood and Sand was the relationship between Lucretia and Ilithyia. Frenemies through and through, it was great to see Lucretia squirm while Ilithyia giggled and smirked with glee while saying some veiled remark. All the upper-class women seem sort of catty that way.
