Moderators:
VGArabia: The hype surrounding the forthcoming installment in the God of War series is reaching a legendary status. We knew that Santa Monica's hotly anticipated PS3 title God of War 3 will be released this month, but it seems that the fans will have something to look forward to after they beat the game.
PSUni: In an excellent and in-depth interview given by Mark DeSanto at I. Eat. Games, Sony Santa Monica's senior producer Steve Caterson has revealed that the team deliberately slows God of War III's framerate down from 60 frames-per-second for cinematic effect. Though this concept sounds a little odd at first, the team has built the game's technology around making such changes in framerate as smooth as possible. Make sure you read the context of this quotaiton before jumping on Caterson's back.
PSLS writes:
"The God of War saga is known for Kratos' battle with the Greek gods of Olympus. His journey has always been a solitary one. After much speculation about God of War III being developed with a multiplayer component, all rumors and conjecture turned out to be false. Fans and pundits alike questioned if co-op would work well with the PlayStation 3 exclusive. Interestingly enough recent comments from one of the game's directors indicates God of War multiplayer may still be in the cards."
TMC: Split-Screen jumped the gun earlier saying Killzone 2 had 72% more head polygon count than Halo:Reach. Surprising information indeed even if it's unfair to compare a complete game to another game still in development. Even more striking is the fact that they tried to compare a random NPC soldier model that it's barely seen in Halo:Reach to a main character from Killzone 2. We can't confirm or deny this information but we can at least tell you that neither can the guys at Split-Screen.com, Why? because we found out that the NPC Reach models they used for their "Article" have absolutely nothing to do with Halo:Reach.
Kotaku: Reader kuroner says that while playing Heavy Rain the other day, he stumbled on a little glitch. One that leaves one of the game's stars, Madison Page, completely naked.
Kratos is one of the greatest characters ever made in videogame history but he's about to face someone just as bad as he is. Hercules has been on the minds of many gamers lately and now the Devs have spoken out.
The Epic Battle is here, it's real, and you will be blown away as God Of War 3 shows exactly why Sony Santa Monica has created the best game we'll see this year in terms of raw technical power using the " BLOOD RAW " Engine that powers God Of War 3.
Most of all In the words of the Great Stig the game is FUN.
PS3-Sense writes "Thanks to the PS3 bug yesterday, all of your unsynced trophies before the first of March, will be gone. So if you haven't uploaded your trophy information before, you will lose all the trophies that you earned since your last sync."
A look back at the events of the PS3's Disaster Day, 2010.
Activision's sudden dismissal of Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Frank Zampella and locking out IW employees from their own offices has raised a lot of questions. As new information becomes clear, some of these questions are being answered.
According to anonymous statements given to Binge Gamer's James Walker, Activision has yet to pay Infinity Ward so much as a dime in royalties for 'Modern Warfare 2', which has earned Activision over one billion dollars in revenue. Additionally, a separate source has suggested that Activision's reasoning for firing West and Zampella for "breaches of contract" may be tied to what Infinity Ward was intending to do after their contract with Activision expires in October, 2010.
Spoiler Alert!
GamePro.de got their hands on God of War 3 and decided to upload a brand new God of War 3 gameplay footage to youtube.
