This article outlines some ideas that could be interesting if they were implemented in GTA V. Keep in mind that probably none of these ideas will ever make it in a GTA game, and that Rockstar North has a very focused design which tries to keep what is quite a complex game very accessible to a lot of people. Therefore, some of these ideas may be too involving to incorporate if they make the game overwhelmingly complex for too many people.

"This article will compare the systems based on how people use them.
The Xbox 360?s largest asset is that of Xbox LIVE. Sony will be responding to LIVE with Playstation Home and XMB updates to create a similar experience, but don?t think it will be as good as LIVE until they get a year and a half to two years of experience with real gamers. Xbox LIVE has a five year head start and feedback from the community it is built on. Both consoles are great and have their own strengths; the Xbox 360 is great for multiplayer gaming while the PS3 has good media capabilities and personalization. Enjoy owning both systems for what each offers" writes 2old2play.com

"Haze, since its announcement in 2006, has gone through a lot. To begin with was a standard ?not-ready-yet? delay which set the game?s release as winter 2007, rather than its original date of summer 2007. Then Ubisoft announced that Haze would be a Playstation 3 exclusive, stating the development for the Xbox 360 and PC had been scrapped. Finally came a further delay to May this year. As customary with any new game, with only a couple of weeks left until the long awaited release, Free Radical have spat out a demo to finally show off what they?ve been up to over the last couple of years. The vital question is whether the game has the legs to stand up to the hype, justifying the constant delays."
Rangebar Merani writes:'As a huge fan of the original SOCOM and SOCOM II, I was ecstatic to hear that new developer Slant Six (maker of PSP title SOCOM: Tactical Strike) are focusing on a close-quarters, tactical combat gameplay for the upcoming online shooter, SOCOM: Confrontation.
With a complete overhaul of the game and a huge leap forward in technology with the PS3, SOCOM: Confrontation is looking like the next-gen SOCOM experience we?ve all been waiting for.'
French site JeuxVideo.fr has an exclusive video of Motorstorm:Pacific Rift showing the multiplayer split screen feature.
According to German site Sega-magazin.de, Skies of Arcadia 2 will be announced by Sega this year.
SOCOM Confrontation focuses on online play and the global community and clans that support it, with support for Tournaments, Clan Ladders, and Leader Boards. Additionally, players will be able to modify their appearance through facial and physical customization. Via WorthPlaying
Publisher Sierra Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing a videogame adaptation of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor for PlayStation 2, Wii and DS this summer.
Eurocom is to produce the PS2 and Wii versions of the upcoming action/adventure title, while A2M will be handling the DS iteration.
Tomb of the Emperor will be based on the forthcoming movie of the same name, which is scheduled to hit cinemas on August 1.
The aptly named Fatal Inertia was originally announced as a PS3 exclusive, then was released first on Xbox 360, and is now finally going to hit via the PlayStation Network in May.
And it now has a nifty little "EX" at the end of it, too!

Last week, PALGN got the opportunity to sit on a plane for 21 hours and repeatedly cry in the incredibly cramped and uncomfortable trip to jolly old London. Of course, there was a reason for this madness: on Tuesday the 6th of May, Sony held the very successful PlayStation Day, and they were there in person to experience glimpses of the future in what is surely going to be a mammoth year for Sony and the PlayStation 3.
