From Gamertell:
"These five games are some that everyone seemed to adore but I didn't care for at all. This by no means suggests that these are bad games but they wouldn't get my recommendation if asked.
Despite getting critical acclaim from many, these five games gave me nothing but stress and I have to get this off my chest before 2010 gets underway."
Games include Red Faction Guerrilla, Dragon Age: Origins, Left 4 Dead 2, Mega Man 9 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled.
"If you've even been to CES the you probably know that setting up Sony's booth must be a massive undertaking. The booth (and I use that term loosely, it's probably about half an acre) is positioned in a sweet spot at the rear corner of one of the Las Vegas Convention Center's massive halls. It holds all of Sony's product offerings, from gaming to televisions to mobile. That's a lot of stuff being showed
off by a lot of people. It's also where Sony hold's their press conference every year, one of the events that marks the start of the show."

"Amazon has expanded their list of games available for pre-order that come with a $10 video game credit!
Here is the full list:"

Burn360: Your Gamertag didn't start off as this fancy keeper of all things Xbox, it initially was just an identity. A Gamertag was just a name that friends saw as online and available to play. What it developed into is what keeps Xbox 360 owners off of the Playstation Network. Regardless of what features it holds now, at first release PSN was lacking of what Xbox Live was offering. Friends lists mainly, at the time Xbox Live was more like a club than a community. Over the last seven years, both networks have blossomed into full fledged multimedia hubs that offer movies, TV, music, games, social networking, and online gaming. Yet Sony was a little late to the party of online gaming, almost refusing to see the importance of a full featured service. Needless to say they have been playing catchup ever since. So why do Xbox 360 Owners believe that Xbox Live is superior to PSN? The majority of visitors to our site are Xbox 360 users and we asked this question to a sample of our readers.
What makes Xbox Live better than Playstation Network?
A) Don't know never played on PSN.
B) Xbox Live Social Aspects are greater than PSN (Voice Chat, Friends Lists, Recent Players, Messaging, Cross Game Chat)
C) PSN is better than Xbox Live, it's free isn't it?
D) All my friends are on Xbox Live.
E) My Gamertag/achievements is something I have built and want to keep
F) Exclusive Content Like Halo Waypoint & Major Nelson
The results weren't very surprising Burn 360 readers responded accordingly...

The dutch website Level7 has awarded GOTY 2009 to Uncharted 2. GTA: Chinatown Wars was nominated as GOTY 2009 award for the portable section. Flower won GOTY 2009 award for the downloadable section.
Just recently a list surfaced that gave more detail to the features Sony will be introducing with their Premium PSN service. After looking this list over I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with what was offered. The Cloud Game Storage and Catch TV features stuck out the most to me. Who knows, if 2010 proves to favor me financially maybe I will give the service a try. There is one feature on that list that a good number of PS3 fans don't want to pay for because they believe it should be free (for understandable reasons), and that feature is Cross Game Chat.
Even with all the fall 2009 releases that were delayed into 2010, it's still been a heck of a year for games. Blockbusters everywhere! You couldn't walk to the bus without tripping over one, it seems. And with all that obsessing over the big-name hits, a huge number of worthy also-rans have gone almost completely overlooked by gamers at large.
British hostage Peter Moore will soon be returning to the UK from Iraq, after spending the last six months of his two-and-a-half year period of captivity with only satellite television, a laptop, and a PlayStation to keep him occupied.
