Description: “Jett” is the creator and editor-in-chief of BATMAN-ON-FILM.COM and ON-FILM.NET. Jett is a life-long fan of Batman (pic. right - "Jett" c. 1969, age 4) with a special affinity for the live-action adaptations of the character. This he attributes to his childhood, as he was a huge fan of the 1960s ABC Television series.
Jett started BOF in June of 1998 - originally “JettD60’s BATMAN 5 Page” - as a means to report BATMAN movie news - but he really wanted to "quietly" persuade Warner Bros. to produce a quality film based on the character.
While he enjoyed two of the “Burton/Schumacher” films – and detested a couple of them as well – Jett believed that a definitive film based on the character had yet to be produced. He wanted a film that more closely depicted The Dark Knight of the comic books.
In June of 2000, the site’s name changed to BATMAN ON FILM and had by that time acquired a fairly large following of loyal readers - whom he refers to as "BOFers." BOF then became a huge online lobby campaign by fans for the production of a quality Bat-film done in a manner respectful to the character.
