"History will best remember Red Alert 3 as being a good multiplayer RTS. At worst it's an embarrassing parody of the 1996 classic. For a game whose ancestor was the original Red Alert, many will feel underwhelmed by the overall package, but you can't argue against the well-proven mutliplayer gameplay."

FastFormat is a C/C++ output and formatting
library whose design parameters are complete
type-safety, efficiency, genericity, and
extensibility. It is simple to use and extend,
highly portable (to any platform or compiler), and
it upholds the C tradition of you only pay for
what you use. FastFormat supports output and
formatting of statements of arbitrary complexity,
consisting of heterogeneous types. FastFormat
writes to output "sinks", which can be of
arbitrary type.
License: BSD License (revised) Changes: The library now detects and reports on unreferenced arguments by default. Also included are new added conversion shims for floating-point types, and string access shims for ff_string_slice_t, which facilitates highly-efficient conversion shims. Defects in the definition of action shim functions for the ostream and stringstream sinks were corrected. This release relies on version 1.9.60 or later of STLSoft.

While the company has been trying to use its incredible library of assets across multiple divisions, the decisions of a few stubborn-headed executives have prevented such corporate synergy.
