Advchk is a tool for monitoring the security of installed software. Advisory Check gathers security advisories using RSS/RDF/XML feeds, compares them against a list of known software, and alerts you if you're vulnerable. Since adding software lists by hand would be quite a boring task, advchk leverages your system's package manager for detecting software. Software installed on remote systems can be monitored by executing the remote package manager as an SSH ForcedCommand using Public-key authentication.

Reuters
documents the Japanese PS3
frenzy, saying that the console sold nearly all of its stock -- 88,400 units -- in its first two days. Just over 60 percent moved were the 60GB version, but we expect gamers were just buying whatever was available.
But what games do the Japanese players want?
Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight and
Ridge Racer 7 are the hottest titles, selling about 30,000 each. While other launch titles are picking up the slack, it sounds like Japanese gamers are spending most of their money on the console and not on games.
The PS3 already supports
video downloads in Japan, so that audience may see it as a rounded entertainment system -- or a Blu-ray player. We're interested in how the number of games sold per-console averages out in different parts of the world.

This is not one game, but rather two. One is the main title, Dracula X Chronicles. It has a second side, the original game with none of the upgrades given, so that doesn?t count as an entirely separate game, though it really is. The second, or third for the picky, is the highly acclaimed Symphony of the Night, featuring badass son-of-a-Dracula Alucard. DXC is the main game and indeed, this is easy to see because to play the other two they must be found within DXC itself. Some may complain about this, for reasons that will be discussed shortly, though it is not difficult to unlock these extra games.
